Crown

A crown or a ‘cap’ is a dental restoration that covers the entire tooth.  Crowns are often recommended for teeth that are heavily broken down or at high risk for substantial fracture.  Crowns can be made of a variety of materials and are typically tooth color or metal.  Treatment is usually completed in two appointments.

Bridge

A bridge is an option to replace a missing tooth or teeth.   A bridge incorporates two crowns on either side of a gap and is permanently cemented in place.  A bridge is a good option to replace one or multiple teeth.
