Root Canal Therapy

A root canal procedure involves removing the nerve inside the tooth. A root canal procedure is sometimes necessary when a tooth has deep decay, the tooth is badly broken down, a tooth is infected, or extensively worn down. In some circumstances, a tooth can become painful and a root canal is necessary to relieve the pain. In the vast majority of these cases, the root canal procedure completely takes the pain away. Usually, the tooth requires a crown after the root canal procedure has been performed.
